Role Overview

The Storekeeper will manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of school materials, maintaining accurate records and supporting audits. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with vendors and internal teams. Candidates with prior experience in schools or institutional settings will be at an advantage.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials and supplies

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and update stock records on a regular basis

  • Issue and distribute items to students, teachers, and staff as per authorization

  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies promptly

  • Ensure all storage areas are safe, clean, and well organized

  • Coordinate with vendors and administrative staff regarding supply needs

  • Prepare routine inventory reports and assist during annual audits


Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate or diploma in storekeeping, inventory management, logistics, or business administration (preferred)

  • 1–3 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory management

  • Experience in a school or institutional environment is an added advantage

  • Ability to start work immediately

Additional requirements highlighted by the employer include:

  • 3+ years of work experience with computer literacy

  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel
