Role Overview
The Receptionist acts as the first point of contact at Aldar Education HQ and plays a key role in representing the organization’s professionalism, values, and culture. This position combines front-desk management with administrative, operational, and stakeholder support responsibilities.
You will work closely with the Operations team and senior leadership, ensuring smooth day-to-day office functions while delivering a welcoming and efficient experience for visitors, staff, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist all visitors in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner

Answer, screen, and route incoming calls in line with Aldar Education’s telephone protocols

Maintain visitor logs, meeting schedules, and reception activity reports

Provide accurate information in person, by phone, and via email

Manage incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence

Maintain the reception, lobby, and first-floor areas to a high professional standard

Support the Executive Director of Operations with calendar coordination and data gathering

Handle general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and document preparation

Log and manage admissions-related inquiries and follow referral systems
Operations, Compliance & HSE Support

Track and register external visitors in coordination with security teams

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual operational reports

Identify maintenance or cleaning issues and report them for timely resolution

Support internal and external audits and follow up on recommendations

Act as a responsible point for Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance
-
Promote a proactive safety culture and report risks or hazards immediately

Support events, including occasional late evenings or weekends during peak periods
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or High School Certificate/Diploma

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a customer-focused role (regional experience preferred)

Previous experience in the education sector is an advantage

Fluency in English (spoken and written); Arabic preferred

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook 365
