Q-Express Documents Transport is hiring for the position of Logistics Coordinator – Direct Imports, a critical operational role focused on managing international shipments from origin to final delivery at Amazon Fulfillment Centers. Role Overview
As a Direct Imports Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating end-to-end international shipments. This includes monitoring cargo movements from origin, managing port-to-port transportation, ensuring smooth customs clearance, and tracking final-mile delivery to fulfillment centers. The role demands strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to resolve issues proactively to avoid delays and maintain service commitments.
This position plays a key role in supporting Amazon’s global supply chain by ensuring shipments move efficiently, compliantly, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

Monitor and track Direct Imports shipments across all transportation stages

Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, trade compliance teams, and fulfillment centers

Proactively identify shipment risks, delays, or discrepancies and implement corrective actions

Maintain, analyze, and report key performance metrics related to Direct Imports operations

Prepare and share regular operational reports with leadership teams

Support and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability

Ensure all activities comply with international shipping regulations and Amazon standards
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

A Bachelor’s degree

Experience in the courier or logistics industry

Working knowledge of logistics operations and shipment coordination

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and reporting tools
