Role Overview
As a Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations across AMZL and FC functions. The role is designed for versatile leaders who can adapt quickly, manage multiple priorities, and maintain operational excellence under pressure. You will work closely with Operations Supervisors, Operations Assistants, Delivery Service Providers, and associates to ensure workflows run smoothly while meeting strict safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities
The Logistics Supervisor role covers a wide range of operational and leadership responsibilities, including:

Operational Leadership

Manage daily logistics and fulfilment activities across AMZL and FC environments

Allocate labor effectively, lead team briefings, and assign tasks to teams of 30–40 associates

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures

Team Management and Development

Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams

Promote a positive work culture focused on engagement, accountability, and safety

Ensure adherence to Amazon’s Health and Safety standards at all times

Performance and Metrics Management

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) closely

Analyze data to identify root causes of performance gaps

Implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement

Process Improvement and Problem Solving

Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency

Use analytical thinking and “Dive Deep” methodologies to solve complex problems

Act as a subject matter expert on core operational processes

Communication and Collaboration

Communicate daily metrics, risks, and exceptions clearly

Collaborate with cross-functional and external partners to resolve operational challenges

Influence stakeholders through clear, data-driven communication

Technology and Inventory Management

Utilize operational systems, software, and hardware tools effectively

Support new system rollouts and process implementations

Maintain accurate inventory records within fulfilment centers

Qualifications and Skills
Basic Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of Amazon full-time (blue badge) experience

Minimum 2 years of employee and performance management experience
-
Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
-
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or Lean methodologies

Background in business, operations, logistics, supply chain, or engineering
-
Experience working in fast-paced, rapidly changing, or international environments
