About the Role
The Team Leader – Holidays will lead and inspire a dynamic team of travel consultants within the Holidays and Cruises department. The position focuses on boosting daily sales performance, managing high-value bookings, and ensuring the smooth execution of travel operations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who balances team management with individual sales contribution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy
The Team Leader will play a vital role in developing and implementing sales strategies aimed at maximizing revenue and conversion rates. This includes collaborating with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns, ensuring that each initiative drives measurable results.
2. High-Value Booking Management
The role involves managing complex and premium travel inquiries, such as long-haul vacations and luxury cruise experiences. The successful candidate will handle high-value leads personally, providing expert consultation, negotiation, and support to ensure smooth and satisfying customer journeys. Maintaining strong client relationships will be essential to encourage repeat bookings and referrals.
3. Team Leadership & Performance Management
As a mentor and coach, the Team Leader will guide the team of travel consultants to meet and exceed sales goals. Regular meetings and one-on-one sessions will help track performance and provide constructive feedback. Training programs on travel products, destinations, and customer service will ensure the team remains competitive and motivated in a fast-moving market.
4. Operational Excellence
Operational discipline is key to success in this role. The Team Leader will ensure all daily reports, sales documentation, and CRM records are accurately maintained. Collaboration with finance, marketing, and operations teams will ensure the seamless delivery of travel packages. The candidate must also ensure compliance with internal policies and uphold high-quality standards across all operations.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, or Hospitality Management is preferred. Additional certifications such as IATA or CLIA will be an advantage.
Experience
Applicants should have 3–5 years of industry experience, including at least three years in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Proficiency with CRM tools, booking systems, and travel software is essential. Experience managing both B2B and B2C travel operations will be highly valued.
