Job Purpose
The Stores Controller is responsible for the daily management of Air Arabia’s stores and inventory systems, including receipt, storage, and release of maintenance materials, spare parts, and tools. The role ensures that all inventory operations are executed accurately and in compliance with GCAA regulations and company procedures, guaranteeing timely support to the engineering and maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory & Stock Management

Manage daily store activities, including maintaining stock levels for essential tools, kits, and spare parts such as batteries, oils, wheels, and consumables.

Ensure all parts and materials are available to meet both planned and unplanned maintenance needs.

Conduct daily inspections of storage conditions—monitoring temperature, humidity, and safety standards.

Maintain organized binning locations and proper tagging in the ICARUS Inventory Control System.
2. Documentation & System Updates

Update and monitor the RAL system to track all inventory movements, shelf life, calibration schedules, and critical tools usage.

Pre-load system requirements for Aircraft Daily Defects (ADD) and Maintenance Deferred Defects (MDD) for easy retrieval.

Maintain accurate records for all transactions, including tool issuance, returns, and replacements.
3. Coordination & Support

Issue and manage tool kits and spare parts based on maintenance schedules for Air Arabia and third-party clients.

Coordinate with the Rotables Team and vendors for unserviceable tools or parts requiring repair or replacement.

Assist with logistics related to deliveries, returns, and the handling of engines, APUs, and Dangerous Goods (DG).

Prepare regular stock reports and suggest corrective measures for discrepancies.
4. Compliance & Safety

Ensure compliance with company safety measures, quality assurance protocols, and GCAA regulatory standards.

Support the Stores Supervisor in maintaining store cleanliness, safety conditions, and workflow optimization.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
-
High school diploma or certificate in a relevant field (a bachelor’s degree preferred).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.

Valid UAE Driving License.
Experience:
-
1–2 years of related experience in stores or inventory management within the aviation industry.

Familiarity with GCAA regulations and IATA Dangerous Goods procedures preferred.

Experience in a low-cost airline environment is an advantage.
