Job Purpose
The Store Associate is responsible for executing sales strategies, assisting customers, and ensuring smooth store operations. The role focuses on achieving sales targets while delivering an excellent shopping experience to customers.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
Sales & Customer Service
- Execute sales strategies and achieve daily targets
- Assist customers in selecting products and making informed decisions
- Provide product demonstrations and technical explanations
- Maximize upselling, cross-selling, and extended warranty sales
Store Operations
- Maintain stock accuracy and update inventory systems
- Manage shelf space and ensure proper product display
- Follow SOPs for returns, exchanges, and pricing
- Support promotional campaigns and in-store activities
Merchandising & Maintenance
- Ensure products are aligned as per visual merchandising guidelines
- Keep shelves clean and organized
- Stay updated on product features and promotional offers
Security & Compliance
- Identify and prevent theft or security risks
- Follow company policies and operational guidelines
Skills & Experience Requirements
Candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in appliances or electronics
- Strong knowledge of electronic products and features
- Excellent communication and customer handling skills
- Ability to explain technical details clearly
