Job Purpose
The Sales Advisor acts as the first point of contact for customers at the service point. The role involves handling customer inquiries, processing shipments, and promoting DHL services while ensuring a high level of professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Customer Service & Support
- Assist customers at the counter and over the phone
- Provide accurate information on services, pricing, and delivery timelines
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints effectively
- Maintain a professional and friendly approach at all times
Sales & Business Growth
- Promote DHL products and value-added services
- Identify sales opportunities and contribute to revenue targets
- Participate in sales lead programs
Operations & Shipment Handling
- Process shipments accurately and prepare airway bills
- Ensure all shipments are documented and manifested correctly
- Maintain records for faster customs clearance
Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with different departments for smooth operations
- Track shipments and provide updates when required
- Maintain cash records and submit daily summaries
Skills & Requirements
Candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Self-motivated and team-oriented personality
- Driving license is preferred
