About the Role
The Baggage Handling Shift Supervisor will oversee baggage handling systems and related airport operational equipment. The role requires ensuring all systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with airport standards.

Main Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Resolving technical and operational issues related to baggage handling systems
- Monitoring PLC systems and associated operational equipment
- Supervising ground power units and preconditioned air units
- Identifying operational risks and implementing immediate corrective actions
- Ensuring safe and efficient functioning of baggage handling systems
- Supporting and guiding teams in line with BHS and HBSS standards
- Maintaining safe operation of passenger loading bridges and airport systems
- Coordinating with technical teams for smooth daily operations
- Preparing operational reports and work instructions
Required Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Relevant vocational or trade qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with baggage handling systems at a similar-sized airport
- Experience in a 24/7 baggage handling control room environment
- Strong English communication and technical writing skills
- Ability to train, guide, and supervise team members
