About the Role
The Cashier is responsible for managing student fee collections, maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, and supporting accounts receivable functions. Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:

Creating and maintaining accurate student and family financial accounts.

Raising invoices for tuition fees, deposits, refunds, and credit notes.

Processing payments through cash, cheque, bank transfer, credit/debit cards, online payment gateways, and Noqodi.
Issuing official payment receipts.
Preparing daily banking transactions and collection reports.

Reconciling cash, bank, credit card, and other payment collections.

Monitoring outstanding student fees and following up with parents.

Maintaining records of post-dated cheques, bounced cheques, and customer advances.

Assisting with petty cash, bank reconciliations, and month-end finance activities.

Processing additional school income, including transport, uniforms, cafeteria, school trips, examinations, and facility rentals.

Ensuring compliance with finance policies, internal controls, and confidentiality requirements.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should possess:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum two years of experience in cashiering or accounts receivable.
Experience working in an educational institution is preferred.

Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with Oracle NetSuite is an added advantage.
