Job Overview
The Cash Office Administrator plays an important role in managing store financial operations and ensuring accurate cash handling within the store. This position focuses on financial reconciliation, reporting, and auditing activities for daily store transactions.
The role requires strong attention to detail and compliance with internal policies and procedures set by IKEA and Al Futtaim Group. In addition, the position supports store operations by maintaining financial accuracy and assisting with customer-related payment matters.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing various financial and operational tasks within the cash office.
Operational Duties

Handle daily reconciliation of store sales and financial reports

Conduct foreign exchange reconciliation and monitor exchange rates

Manage cheque collections and maintain proper documentation

Ensure daily balancing of store safe funds

Reconcile credit card transactions and payment records

Redeem and reconcile gift vouchers

Manage and monitor store petty cash transactions

Handle banking processes for various payment types

Investigate and report any discrepancies in cash registers

Prepare daily operational and financial reports

Maintain compliance with IKEA and Al Futtaim financial procedures
Customer Service Responsibilities

Assist customers with payment-related queries

Handle petty cash requests, quotes, and LPO transactions

Support store teams with financial documentation
