Role Overview
The Logistics Coordinator supports daily logistics operations, including shipment handling, documentation, and coordination with internal teams and external partners. The role ensures that aircraft parts and materials are delivered efficiently while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Operations
- Assist in import, export, cross-trade, and local shipment activities
- Coordinate urgent and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shipments
- Track shipments and follow up with freight forwarders and suppliers
- Ensure timely execution of logistics operations
Documentation & Records
- Prepare and verify shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and air waybills
- Maintain accurate records and shipment logs
- Ensure timely submission of documents to stakeholders
Compliance & Coordination
- Follow company SOPs and aviation safety regulations
- Coordinate with customs and logistics partners for smooth clearance
- Report discrepancies, delays, or damages promptly
- Communicate with departments such as Engineering, Stores, and Procurement
Systems & Reporting
- Update shipment status in logistics systems
- Support data entry, reporting, and audit preparation
- Maintain performance tracking and documentation records
Qualifications & Requirements
To be eligible for this role, candidates should meet the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Aviation, or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or air cargo
- Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes
- Understanding of air cargo operations (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/ERP systems
- Good communication skills in English
