Role Overview
The Cashier plays a critical role within the dealership environment, serving as the first and final point of customer interaction at the sales or service counters. This position ensures that all financial transactions are completed smoothly and accurately while delivering a friendly and professional customer experience. The Cashier must consistently maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and a high level of service, making them an essential representative of the organization’s values.
Key Responsibilities
Cashiers at Gargash Group will:

Process customer payments efficiently using cash, cards, checks, and electronic transfer methods.

Manage and record all transactions using dealership software and follow company procedures.

Issue receipts, refunds, credits, and exchange details correctly.

Welcome customers warmly and assist with inquiries regarding services, offers, and payments.

Escalate unresolved issues to supervisors when necessary, ensuring customer satisfaction is always prioritized.

Maintain professionalism and a customer-centric approach during every interaction.

Count, verify, and balance cash drawers at the start and end of each shift.

Report discrepancies immediately and maintain detailed financial documentation for audits.

Support other dealership departments including sales, service, and parts when required.

Follow strict compliance and security procedures to safeguard financial and customer data.

Prepare reports and assist the finance department with daily, weekly, and monthly summaries.

Participate in continuous improvement activities, training sessions, and staff meetings.

Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and transaction efficiency.
This position requires a high level of responsibility, organization, and integrity, as the Cashier directly contributes to the financial accuracy and service excellence of the dealership.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Cashier or in a financial transaction role.

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Strong numerical accuracy and basic accounting awareness.

Knowledge of POS systems and confidence working with computers and finance software.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service abilities.

Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment.

High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
