Overview of the Role
The Customer Service Executive plays a key role in managing client relationships and ensuring smooth shipment operations. This position involves coordinating with carriers, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring that shipments are processed efficiently and delivered on time.
The role also requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment updates and inquiries
- Provide freight quotations across air, sea, and land transport
- Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure quick resolution
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Shipment Coordination
- Coordinate with agents, shipping lines, airlines, and transporters

Arrange bookings for:
- FCL (Full Container Load)
- LCL (Less than Container Load)
- Air freight and land shipments
- Track shipments and provide proactive updates to customers
- Ensure on-time delivery and resolve delays efficiently
Documentation & Compliance

Prepare and verify shipping documents such as:
- Bill of Lading (BL)
- Air Waybill (AWB)
- Invoice and Packing List
- Certificate of Origin (COO)
- Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations
- Coordinate with customs clearance teams for import/export processes
Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates applying for this role should meet the following criteria:
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in freight forwarding customer service
- Experience in Abu Dhabi logistics operations is an advantage
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and client requests efficiently
