Job Overview
The Storekeeper is responsible for controlling the daily operations of store activities, including storage, warehousing, inventory control, logistics coordination, and material distribution. The role ensures that materials and equipment are stored safely, tracked accurately, and issued efficiently in line with operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Responsibilities

Maximize available storage capacity within limited space

Identify alternative solutions when materials are unavailable or fall below minimum stock levels
Operational Responsibilities

Maintain records for receipt, issuance, and withdrawal of materials

Pack, label, classify, and codify materials and equipment
-
Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report issues for replacement
-
Follow FIFO procedures and coordinate stock rotation and disposal

Prepare and update daily and monthly stock reports

Provide data inputs for forecasting material requirements

Protect stored materials from damage, deterioration, fire, or loss

Maintain proper housekeeping for easy material accessibility

Control access to storage areas and prevent unauthorized entry
People Management

Guide and instruct store personnel

Participate in checking and clearing incoming materials
Product & Process Improvement

Raise discrepancy and damage reports along with Goods Received Notes (GRN)

Verify requisitions before and after material issuance for accuracy and authorization
Qualifications & Experience
Education

Preferred: Graduate in any discipline

Minimum: High School Graduate
Skills & Knowledge

Proficiency in MS Office

Working knowledge of ERP systems (MM Module)
Experience

Preferred: Relevant experience in UAE or Gulf countries

Minimum: 3–5 years of relevant storekeeping experience
