About the Role
The Assistant Store Supervisor will support all aspects of store operations, including ordering, inbound receiving, stocking, inventory management, staffing, and pick-and-pack functions. This role ensures smooth functioning during assigned shifts and works collaboratively with the Store Supervisor to maintain operational efficiency, stock accuracy, and high service standards.
The position plays a vital part in maximizing store productivity, preventing stock issues, and ensuring customers receive accurate, fast, and high-quality deliveries.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient end-to-end order processing.

Support the Store Supervisor in managing staff scheduling, shift planning, and daily tasks.

Assist in ordering and replenishment to prevent out-of-stock (OOS) conditions and ensure optimal stock volume.

Maintain strong inventory control by conducting cycle counts, stock takes, and accuracy checks.

Ensure proper inbound receiving procedures and verify all deliveries as per company SOPs.

Monitor outbound processes, ensuring accurate picking and packing of orders.

Identify areas for process improvement to increase overall productivity and profitability.

Help reduce shrinkage and ensure strict hygiene, safety, sanitation, and security standards.

Support communication with demand planners, suppliers, and internal teams when required.

Discuss operational issues with the Store Supervisor and propose actionable solutions.
Qualifications & Experience Required

3–5 years of experience in a supermarket, restaurant, or retail operations role.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.

Hands-on experience with operational tools, inventory systems, or store technology.

Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
