Position Overview: Transport Supervisor
The Transport Supervisor plays a critical role in coordinating ground support activities during aircraft stopovers and turnarounds. The primary objective is to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant loading and unloading of aircraft, while supporting on-time departures and maintaining Etihad’s operational excellence standards.

Key Responsibilities
As a Transport Supervisor, your duties will include:

Executing, overseeing, and monitoring ramp and ground operations to ensure aircraft protection and safety

Coordinating daily technical operations and supervising a small team of ground agents

Supervising the build-up and breakdown of aircraft Unit Load Devices (ULDs) in line with load planning requirements

Monitoring baggage transportation to ensure timely delivery to aircraft and arrival areas

Overseeing pre-flight checks and ground activities to support safe and on-time departures

Coordinating with load control and balancing teams to maximize loading efficiency while minimizing costs

Ensuring strict adherence to loading instructions and aviation safety procedures

Education and Experience Requirements
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Minimum Diploma (2 years or more)

Valid UAE Driving License

Relevant vehicle licenses as per UAE regulations

Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant aviation or ground handling role

Mandatory English language proficiency

ADP / ADAS equipment licenses, Ramp or Freighter Handling certification are preferred
