Position Summary
The Store Helper supports receiving, shipping, and delivery activities under the guidance of the Assistant Storekeeper, Storekeeper, or Head of Department. The role ensures that materials are distributed accurately and efficiently throughout the hospital while maintaining warehouse cleanliness and compliance with hospital policies.
This position plays a key part in supporting hospital departments by ensuring essential supplies are delivered on time and handled according to established procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Actively support and promote the vision, mission, and culture of University Hospital Sharjah

Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and fire safety regulations

Participate in international accreditation activities to help maintain UHS quality standards

Distribute and deliver ordered materials to hospital departments and staff

Assist with receiving and shipping activities as directed by store management
-
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and ensure storage areas are neat and orderly
-
Support inventory handling and basic stock control activities

Participate in internal orientation programs, mandatory competencies, and ongoing education

Work assigned shifts according to the Materials Management Department duty roster

Perform duties in line with the terms and conditions outlined in the employment contract
Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum qualification of high school graduation

Ability to perform physical labor and handle materials safely

Understanding of oral and written instructions in a work environment

Familiarity with warehouse procedures, including storage, issuance, and inventory control
