Position Overview
The Manager – Cabin Cleaning role is a critical operational position responsible for ensuring that aircraft cabins meet Etihad’s strict cleanliness, safety, and quality standards before every flight. The role involves managing daily cabin cleaning activities, handling operational challenges, and coordinating with internal teams and service partners to ensure smooth turnaround operations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency while supporting Etihad’s reputation for excellence in passenger experience.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
The selected professional will be responsible for the following core duties:
Supervise daily cabin cleaning operations to ensure safe, consistent, and timely service delivery
Handle operational disruptions and delays, ensuring quick resolution and service recovery
Plan and manage staff rosters to maintain adequate workforce availability
Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality regulations
Coordinate closely with internal departments, ground handling agents, and service providers
Guide and support staff through coaching and performance feedback
Education and Experience Requirements
Candidates applying for this position should meet the following requirements:
Diploma qualification or higher (minimum 2 years of study)
At least 5 to 7 years of experience in aviation operations, facilities management, or a related field
Proven experience managing teams in an operational environment
Strong knowledge of safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
