About the Role
The main objective of this role is to provide critical support to the UAE Cargo Commercial function by managing administrative, reporting, and system-related tasks. The Officer - Cargo Sales Support ensures that the sales team can focus on core business development and customer engagement while all back-end functions operate seamlessly.
From maintaining accurate data to coordinating sales reports, the role is designed for individuals who thrive on organization, attention to detail, and teamwork. This position is crucial in keeping operations running smoothly, especially when sales staff are meeting customers or handling external responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
As an Officer - Cargo Sales Support, your duties will include:

Managing the end-to-end quote process, ensuring all rate requests are accurate, timely, and well-documented.

Preparing and distributing regular reports on quotation success rates, agent performance, route trends, and overall UAE sales performance.

Maintaining consistency and accuracy across systems like SkyChain, CRM, and Excel trackers.

Providing administrative and back-office support through data entry, document tracking, and coordination within the sales department.

Organizing and archiving essential sales documents, such as rate approvals and commercial agreements.

Acting as a key coordination point when sales staff are unavailable, ensuring business continuity.

Working closely with the pricing and capacity management teams to track and communicate available cargo space.

Assisting in analyzing customer buying trends, agent contributions, and market movements to identify upselling or optimization opportunities.

Supporting the launch of sales campaigns by preparing customer lists, monitoring responses, and tracking follow-ups.

Observing competitor activities and sharing insights to help the company maintain a competitive edge in the UAE cargo market.
Qualifications and Skills
To qualify for this role, candidates should hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Data Analysis or a related field. You’ll need 2–4 years of experience in cargo sales or coordination, with knowledge of SkyChain, Excel, and BI tools considered a strong advantage.
Proficiency in English is required, while knowledge of additional languages will be beneficial in supporting a diverse customer base.
