Role Overview

As a Senior Accountant, you will be instrumental in managing and supporting the key functions across Emirates’ Finance departments. These include EK Revenue Services, Group Accounts Payable, Payroll, Financial Reporting, Master Management, and Regional Finance operations. Your role will involve a mix of strategic oversight, operational excellence, and team leadership. You will manage process improvements, risk assessments, reconciliation functions, and internal controls, ensuring compliance with Group policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the cash management and customer service operations across multiple locations.

• Analyze financial data, perform reconciliation, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, automate systems, and reduce unit costs.

• Support audit processes and respond to audit queries.

• Ensure accurate revenue processing for EK Engineering and other head office billings.

• Manage revenue-related operations for dnata Line of Businesses, including billing verification, reconciliation, and document archiving.

• Oversee customer refunds, ensuring compliance with policies and resolving disputes or escalations efficiently.

• Support business decision-making by preparing MIS reports and conducting comparative and trend analysis.

• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for finance-related systems.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• A degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, including in a supervisory role.

• Strong analytical and investigative skills.

• High proficiency in MS Office tools like Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and team management capabilities.

• Experience with commercial finance systems and process optimization is an advantage.
