Job Purpose
As an Assistant Nurse, your role is to support doctors and registered nurses in delivering basic but essential care to staff and their dependents. You will assist during minor surgical procedures, maintain clinical stock levels, and provide administrative and clinical support in alignment with healthcare protocols.
This position plays a vital role in ensuring the health and wellness of Emirates Group employees while working closely with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities

Assist doctors in minor surgeries and ensure surgical tools are prepared in compliance with clinical standards.

Monitor and maintain stocks of medical equipment, consumables, and health education materials.

Provide basic patient care such as applying clean dressings, slings, or support bandages under supervision.

Record patient vitals (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, etc.) and health statistics using EPR systems.

Collect and handle laboratory specimens like urine, feces, and sputum with proper documentation.

Educate patients and families on medical procedures, directions, and visiting hours.

Practice infection control and hazard monitoring to ensure a safe clinical environment.

Support registered nurses in patient assessments and promptly report clinical observations.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the role of Assistant Nurse, candidates must meet the following:

Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in a Dubai healthcare setting.

Possess a Diploma in Nursing (minimum 18-month course duration).

Eligible for DHA licensing as an Assistant Nurse.

Experience in Primary Care or Paediatrics is a plus.

Strong command of English (written and spoken).

Able to work independently and committed to professional development.
