About the Role
The Outlet Cashier is responsible for handling all cashiering activities within the food and beverage outlets. The role includes processing guest payments, maintaining accurate POS records, preparing daily cash reports, and ensuring all financial transactions are completed according to hotel procedures.
This position requires excellent numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide professional customer service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Record every food and beverage sale through the POS system.
Process complimentary meals and employee meals accurately.
Maintain opening and closing check records for each shift.
Open guest checks and process food and beverage orders.

Handle payments by cash, room charge, credit card, or city ledger.
Split and transfer guest tables when required.
Prepare cashier summaries at the end of each shift.
Reconcile POS (Micros) readings with transaction records.
Verify credit card transaction reports with physical receipts.

Prepare daily cash deposits and complete deposit documentation.
Deposit cash securely according to hotel procedures.

Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with hotel policies.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or Accounting.
Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
Good English communication skills.
Computer literacy.

Knowledge of Opera, Micros POS, FBM, or SUN System is an advantage.
