Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Buyer – Sports, you will support the development and performance of the sports category.
Buying & Category Support
- Assist in end-to-end buying for sports apparel, footwear, and accessories
- Support assortment planning, pricing, and inventory management
- Track trends in sportswear, athleisure, and sneaker culture
- Monitor in-season performance to improve sales and reduce markdowns
Brand & Seller Management
- Coordinate with sports brands, distributors, and sellers
- Support onboarding of new brands and partnerships
- Assist with product launches and promotional campaigns
Marketplace Operations
- Monitor seller performance (pricing, availability, and selection)
- Ensure product content meets quality standards
- Support sellers in improving key performance metrics
Data & Performance Analysis
- Analyze sales trends and customer behavior
- Track category performance and identify opportunities
- Prepare reports and dashboards for business reviews
Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail, Fashion, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in buying, merchandising, or retail support
- Experience in e-commerce or retail is preferred
- Exposure to sportswear or sneaker categories is an advantage
Required Skills
