Job Purpose
The Junior Accountant will support the company’s financial operations by managing daily accounting activities, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining compliance with UAE regulations. The role also involves assisting management with financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will handle a range of accounting functions, including:
- Managing day-to-day accounting operations and general ledger activities
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Handling month-end and year-end closing processes
- Performing account reconciliations and ensuring data accuracy
- Monitoring cash flow, accounts payable, and receivable
- Assisting in budgeting and financial forecasting
- Ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies
- Supporting internal and external audit processes
- Maintaining and improving accounting systems and controls
Education & Experience Requirements
Candidates applying for this role should meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience (preferably in construction, fit-out, or joinery industry)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
