Job Overview: Packing Operative

The Packing Operative will report directly to the Production Manager and play a critical role in ensuring fragrance blends are accurately mixed, packed, and prepared for dispatch. This position requires strict adherence to quality standards, safety procedures, and customer specifications.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of production and packing activities, including:

• Mixing and blending aromatic oils and aroma chemicals according to SOPs

• Packing products into steel or HDPE drums with precise measurements

• Operating pumps and transferring products safely

• Collecting and submitting samples to Quality Control

• Following pack sheets for correct labeling and drum specifications

• Cleaning and sanitizing mixing equipment to hygiene standards

• Palletizing and banding drums for secure transport

• Completing all documentation and system records accurately

• Identifying and reporting safety hazards or process deviations

Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment is essential at all times.

Skills and Attributes Required

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Proficient in spoken and written English (essential)

• Valid UAE Forklift Truck license (essential; training may be provided)

• Experience in liquid mixing and packing (advantageous)

• Ability to handle hazardous materials and heavy drums safely
