About the Role
The Operations Supervisor plays a critical role in controlling daily flight operations while supporting Operations Management in supervising teams and coordinating with airline clients and internal stakeholders. The primary objective is to ensure that people, production, and catering services operate safely, efficiently, and to the highest service standards, delivering exceptional quality to customers on every flight.
Key Responsibilities
As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing operational excellence across catering and flight support activities, including:

Supervising assigned staff through training, motivation, guidance, and performance counselling

Coordinating with airline representatives on catering uplift, passenger figures, and special service requests

Preparing catering order forms and distributing them to relevant departments
-
Ensuring loading and offloading procedures comply with airline, company, and airport security policies
-
Conducting spot checks at operations sections and ramp areas to ensure timely delivery and quality standards
-
Verifying checklists and operational documents before submission to the Accounts Department
-
Implementing corrective actions following incident investigations

Enforcing safe working practices in line with EKFC policies and regulatory standards
-
Monitoring daily resource allocation and escalating variances to management
-
Ensuring effective shift briefings and handovers across teams
Required Qualifications & Experience
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
Education
-
Diploma or equivalent qualification (mandatory)

Certifications in Six Sigma, Logistics, or Supply Chain (preferred)
Experience
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in flight operations, food packing, or logistics
-
Background in the airline catering or food industry preferred
-
At least 2 years in a supervisory role (advantage)
Key Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and allocate work effectively

Excellent record-keeping and reporting skills with attention to detail

Strong time and resource management abilities

Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
