About the Role

As a Junior Storekeeper (Driver), you will support the Distribution Centre Storekeeper in managing the receipt, issuance, and delivery of stock items across various departments. The role combines warehouse operations with driving responsibilities, including deliveries to the cargo village for overseas dispatch. This position plays a key role in ensuring materials move efficiently and safely through the supply chain, supporting Emirates Group’s world-class operations.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be involved in a wide range of operational and logistical activities, including:

Delivering and collecting materials and items from internal user departments
Handling shipment deliveries to the cargo village for overseas dispatches
Assisting with counting, checking, and receiving goods into stock
Placing items correctly into shelves and designated stock locations
Supporting senior storekeepers by preparing requisitions to meet departmental demands
Assisting in packaging and distribution of uniforms, promotional items, and non-stock materials to outstations and events
Supporting dispatch activities for overseas and inter-departmental shipments
Providing clerical support, including filing receipt and issue vouchers
Assisting with the physical management and general maintenance of store areas

This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow established procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all warehouse and delivery operations.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

Minimum 10 years of schooling or equivalent qualification
At least 1 year of experience in a general distribution or warehouse environment
Valid UAE driving license (mandatory)
Good written and spoken English communication skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented, multicultural environment
Physically fit and capable of handling routine warehouse duties

Previous exposure to logistics, inventory handling, or supply chain operations will be an advantage.
