Job Purpose: Chief Driver
The primary purpose of the Chief Driver role is to allocate and manage Loader/Drivers efficiently to ensure dnata meets its commitments to customer airlines. Allocation is carried out through the RMS system, ensuring that aircraft handling requirements are met accurately and on time. This position requires strong coordination skills, leadership ability, and hands-on experience in airside operations at Dubai International Airport.
Key Responsibilities
As a Chief Driver, your responsibilities will include:

Allocating Loader/Drivers for aircraft handling based on load, flight number, and scheduled departure times

Briefing drivers on flight details, operational requirements, and safety procedures

Monitoring time and attendance to ensure workforce availability and productivity

Managing and controlling a large team of personnel, maintaining discipline and adherence to company policies

Coordinating closely with Team Leaders to adjust allocations during flight disruptions or schedule changes

Assigning drivers during free periods to refuel vehicles with petrol or diesel

Dispatching ground equipment to the Engineering Department for servicing and maintenance

Qualifications and Experience Requirements
To be considered for the Chief Driver position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Minimum 10 years of schooling or equivalent qualification

At least 1 year of driving experience with a good understanding of airside operations

Strong knowledge of ramp areas at Dubai International Airport
