Role Overview
The primary purpose of the Airport Agent – Cargo role is to carry out loading and unloading operations for passenger baggage and freight, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency at all times. Working airside in both ramp and cargo areas, the agent supports the safe turnaround of aircraft while strictly following procedures outlined by CPM or LIR instructions. Maintaining high performance within tight service-level timelines is crucial, as well as adhering to the highest standards of Health & Safety and operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Airport Agents – Cargo work closely with Team Leaders to ensure seamless aircraft operations. Supporting safe service delivery, following instructions, and meeting airline requirements are central to this role. Responsibilities include:

Assisting in aircraft turnaround operations under the guidance of the Team Leader.

Strictly following safety procedures and immediately reporting any unsafe practices.

Performing Wingman and passenger escort duties when required.
-
Collecting and correctly disposing of Foreign Object Debris (F.O.D.).
-
Adhering to Airport Notices, official instructions, and company policies.
-
Ensuring compliance with Aviation Security standards and grooming guidelines.
-
Handling airline and company equipment with extreme care to avoid damage.
-
Completing daily reports with accuracy and following IATA tie-down procedures.

Escorting staff with temporary passes and representing the company professionally.

Working flexibly across different operational areas based on workload demands.
Loaders and Porterage Responsibilities
Agents may also take on loader duties such as:

Collecting and loading gate items.

Unloading and delivering items to the aircraft side or gate lounge.
For porterage functions, responsibilities include:

Safely transporting passenger luggage to designated locations.
-
Handling arriving and departing baggage securely.
-
Advising passengers on applicable charges and ensuring correct processing.

Promoting Hala services such as baggage wrapping or quick check-in.

Qualifications and Skills
Candidates must have:

A High School Diploma

At least one year of experience in a related field

Ability to read and write in English
