Job Purpose
The main purpose of the Junior Office Clerk role is to provide routine administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth functioning of office operations. The clerk is expected to manage document handling, office supplies, data entry, and basic communication tasks efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
The Junior Office Clerk will be expected to perform the following duties:

Document Handling: Pack, sort, and distribute documents and mail in a timely and organized manner based on internal procedures.

Discrepancy Reporting: Report any issues or exceptions to the supervising officer promptly.

Document Preparation: Support the team by photocopying, collating, scanning, faxing, laminating, and binding documents as required.

Data Entry & Logs: Maintain logs and basic data entries such as timekeeping, forms, and general applications, ensuring information is accurate and current.

Filing & Archiving: Organize and manage files according to department standards and discard outdated documents responsibly.

Asset Maintenance: Ensure that office equipment like photocopiers, telephones, and fax machines are in good working condition.

Stationery Management: Order, log, and maintain adequate office stationery supplies.

Administrative Support: Provide general office services such as typing, scheduling appointments, contacting clients, and assisting in administrative tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education: Minimum of 10 years of formal schooling.

Experience: At least 1 year of experience in an administrative or office environment.

Skills & Knowledge:

Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Should be proficient in written and spoken English.

Must possess a valid driving license.
