Job Purpose
The Logistics & Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring smooth supply chain operations, including planning, storage, procurement, and delivery of materials. The role ensures that raw materials and packaging are available to meet production demands while maintaining efficient inventory and logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will handle a wide range of responsibilities, including:
Supply Chain & Procurement
- Arrange raw material supplies and manage procurement processes
- Source packaging materials and coordinate with suppliers
- Evaluate vendor performance to ensure quality standards
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Maintain accurate stock records for raw materials and finished goods
- Implement stock control procedures and monitor inventory levels
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials
Logistics & Delivery Coordination
- Manage customer orders and ensure timely product delivery
- Review shipment plans and coordinate with logistics teams
- Assign delivery priorities and optimize transportation costs
Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze sales forecasts for procurement planning
- Prepare reports for daily operations and budgeting
- Support cost analysis and recommend improvements
Coordination & Compliance
- Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and customers
- Ensure compliance with supply chain procedures
- Handle customer complaints and implement corrective actions
Skills & Experience Requirements
Candidates applying for this role should meet the following criteria:
- University degree in Commerce or equivalent
- 6–8 years of experience in supply chain or warehouse operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of export procedures from the UAE
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Strong administrative and organizational abilities
- Ability to work methodically and manage multiple tasks
