Job Purpose
The Sales Supervisor is responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding the existing customer base, and ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies within the assigned territory. This role also involves supervising the sales team, improving route productivity, and achieving sales and collection targets.
Key Responsibilities
Tactical Responsibilities
- Support execution of sales and business development strategies
- Identify new customer opportunities and expand existing accounts
- Assist in launching new products across assigned markets
- Monitor market trends and customer behavior
- Implement promotional and brand activation activities
Operational Responsibilities
- Set and monitor weekly and monthly sales targets
- Ensure achievement of sales and collection goals
- Manage route planning and distribution efficiency
- Maintain pricing, merchandising, and distribution standards
- Handle customer service and logistics issues effectively
- Track collections and control operational costs
General Duties
- Prepare regular sales and performance reports
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and market feedback
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth operations
- Support promotions, campaigns, and special business projects
People Management
- Supervise and guide field teams and merchandisers
- Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations
- Provide coaching, training, and development support
- Motivate team members and improve productivity
Education & Experience Requirements
Candidates should meet the following criteria:
- University or college graduate (preferred)
- Valid UAE driving license
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in FMCG sales
- Strong knowledge of sales operations and distribution management
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational abilities
