Job Overview
The Ground Operations Trainer (Cargo) is responsible for developing and delivering cargo operations training programs. The role ensures that all training activities comply with regulatory standards such as GCAA, IATA, and ICAO.

Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive cargo training programs.
Training and Development

Design and deliver cargo operations training programs aligned with aviation regulations

Conduct classroom and practical training sessions for cargo operations staff

Develop and update training materials to match industry standards

Use modern training techniques including instructor-led and computer-based learning
Cargo Operations Training

Provide training on cargo acceptance procedures

Train staff on handling Dangerous Goods and Special Cargo

Deliver practical training on ULD operations and cargo handling procedures

Ensure trainees understand international safety and operational standards
Compliance and Evaluation

Qualification Requirements
Candidates applying for this role must meet the following educational requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification

Recognized Train the Trainer certification (IATA, City & Guilds, or equivalent)

Valid Dangerous Goods (DGR) Certification – Category 7.1

Strong written and spoken English language skills

Knowledge of Arabic or Russian will be an advantage
Work Experience
Applicants should have strong aviation industry experience, particularly in cargo handling and training.
Required Experience

Minimum 5 years of cargo acceptance experience

At least 2 years handling Dangerous Goods and Special Cargo

Experience in aviation training design and delivery preferred

Knowledge of aviation manuals such as IATA AHM, ICHM, and ULDR
