Position Overview
The General Cashier / Paymaster is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
This role plays a key part in safeguarding company assets and supporting smooth financial operations within the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will handle a variety of finance-related duties, including:

Verify figures, postings, and documents for accuracy

Maintain cash, petty cash, and cashier banks

Record and store computerized financial information

Complete period-end closing procedures and reports

Audit cashier banks according to SOP guidelines

Document and resolve cash variances

Act as liaison between the hotel and banking institutions

Support internal, external, and regulatory audits
Additionally, the role requires maintaining confidentiality, protecting company assets, and ensuring compliance with Marriott policies.
