Role Overview
Honest Group FZCO is seeking a responsible, organized, and experienced Store Assistant / Storekeeper to support warehouse and store operations within its steel division. This role is critical in ensuring effective stock control, accurate inventory management, and safe material handling. Only candidates with experience in the steel industry will be shortlisted, as familiarity with steel materials and industrial inventory processes is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and issue steel materials and deliveries to designated storage or work locations
Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock
Monitor inventory levels and identify slow-moving items to avoid over-purchasing
Assist in raising material requests and purchase orders when required
Maintain strict control over store inventory, including stock releases and physical counts
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures at all times
Support supervisors, managers, and team members in daily operational activities
Provide efficient internal service to site and operations teams
Experience & Skills Required
2–3 years of storekeeping or warehouse experience, preferably in the steel or industrial sector
Strong knowledge of stock control and inventory management systems
Good communication skills with a positive and professional attitude
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Flexible, reliable, and safety-conscious approach to work
